Dr. Tim Shahbazian
Oral Surgeon Dr. Tim Shahbazian is a second generation native Californian born and raised in central California. He completed his dental degree at the University of California at Los Angeles in 1978. After his dental training was completed, Dr. Shahbazian was offered a teaching position at UCLA, where he served for 4 years teaching the management of TMJ and facial pain, as well as treating private patients in the faculty group dental clinic.
Dr. Shahbazian completed his 4 year hospital residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a former Chief of the Dental Service at Washington Township Hospital in Fremont, CA. Having served as President of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, he remains active in local, state and national professional organizations.
